Giulia encourages the students to establish a friendly approach towards their body and helps them to find a personal way to work with it. She believes that yoga asanas are a place to “explore our
way into” ourselves by listening deeply and increasing our self awareness. Body, emotions and thoughts weave our sense of identity and our lives. Changing the way we use our bodies has an
enormous effect on our whole self.
This Yoga fundamentals class takes a gentle, slower pace of asanas to accommodate all the information and details of the postures. It is open to new yogis and to those with some experience who
are interested in deepening their understanding of the asana practice.
Giulia introduces you to the fundamentals of the Iyengar yoga system, with a particular attention on moving carefully through the postures, breathing deeply and staying focused and present.
Expect to be challenged and supported as you learn how your body works through the integrated movements of yoga.
